Bryan's in Alaska!

A couple of days ago, Bryan flew to Ketchikan Alaska and then to a nearby small and remote island, where he's headquartered in a very small town - and it's cold, he reported to Laura. Brrr. I wonder if he's sitting by a general store's pot-belly stove getting to know the locals while he's waiting for the missing pump parts to be flown in so he can finish the job. His two-day trip has been extended!

Snow & More Snow!

Our neighborhood dressed in a early-morning snow - which doesn't usually last long, but has happened several times this week.

Lunching With the Birds!

While we were eating lunch today, Dave spotted a flock of about 30 birds having "lunch" on our patio. They seemed to be finding lots of yummy stuff in the plantings between the stepping stones. When Dave got the bird book, it fell open to the Pine Siskin page - which is what they were! Go figure!

Perfect Teeth & Great Eyebrows

It's Dustin and his green, or are they hazel, eyes - photographed by Jen....

Wow!

When entering the new Seattle Public Library, you walk on the first lines of the library's foreign-book collection! And that's after you've viewed the non-conventional exterior. Click here for great photos and here for the library layout. It's a library full of surprises as well as books. You must see it! We had a great tour guide when we visited a few weeks ago - Ivana, who obviously loves this library.
